About

"Storytelling is about connecting to other people and helping people to see what you see." - Michael Margolis

The Westminster Winter Park Volunteer Services department is building a team to develop a podcast highlighting the stories and experiences of our Senior residents. Members of the Podcast Development team will:

  • Research best practices for recording, publishing, and advertising a podcast
  • Recruit residents and staff to participate, and coordinate the schedule of interview recordings
  • Create a list of standard questions for each participant, and specialized questions specific to the interviewee's story
  • Facilitate interviews and perform post-production editing before publishing

No previous podcast or editing experience required, you'll just need a willingness to learn together and grow your skills! Flexible scheduling available with the opportunity to perform research and editing tasks remotely.

During all in-person work, volunteers will wear a new, surgical face mask, must show proof of full COVID-19 vaccination, and participate in a temperature screening upon arrival.
